The Role:

As a Manager of Technical Services in Polymer at Reliance Industries, you will play a pivotal role in leading technical initiatives and providing expertise in polymer science and engineering. You will be responsible for overseeing technical services, supporting product development, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of technical experts to provide support for product development, application testing, and technical troubleshooting.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to develop and launch new polymer products and applications.
3. Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal stakeholders and external customers on polymer processing, material selection, and application development.
4. Conduct technical evaluations and analyses to identify opportunities for product optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and application guides, to support product commercialization and customer support activities.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the polymer industry to ensure compliance and drive innovation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in technical services, product development, or technical support role in the polymer industry.
3. Strong technical expertise in polymer science, polymer processing, and polymer characterization techniques.
4. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
