Role Overview: As a Solution/Data Architect at Ford, you will play a crucial role in defining the architecture and design of enterprise solutions that support our business objectives and drive value from data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to design, implement, and optimize data architectures, platforms, and applications that enable data-driven decision-making and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to define, design, and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures and solutions that support Ford's strategic initiatives and business objectives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineers to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and define data models, schemas, and architectures that meet business needs and enable data-driven decision-making.
Develop and maintain data architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices, and provide guidance and support to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards.
Evaluate and recommend data technologies, platforms, and tools that align with business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends, and drive initiatives to enhance data capabilities and drive innovation.
Design and implement data governance, data quality, and metadata management processes and frameworks to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data assets across the enterprise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data integration, transformation, and analytics solutions that enable real-time insights, predictive analytics, and personalized customer experiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in solution architecture, data architecture, or related roles, with a focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures and solutions in a complex, enterprise environment.
Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data management principles, with experience in relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
Proficiency in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance frameworks, with experience in data quality, metadata management, and master data management.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others at all levels of the organization.
