Role Overview:
As a Manager in Corporate Assurance at Aditya Birla Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's internal control systems, risk management processes, and compliance frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess operational risks, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes across business units.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational procedures, and compliance frameworks to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to management on internal control deficiencies, risk mitigation strategies, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Lead investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or compliance violations, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk assessment methodologies, with experience in conducting audits and implementing control improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
